Although veneers are a cosmetic treatment, they should only be performed by a dentist. To do so, an initial visit is required to assess whether veneers are the best option for the problem to be resolved.
If so, the veneers are placed during the second visit. If composite veneers have been chosen, they will be placed during this second visit, and the patient will leave with their mouth in perfect condition.
If, instead of composite veneers, the treatment involves placing porcelain veneers, the teeth will be carved during this second session and measurements will be taken so that the veneers can be manufactured in the laboratory with the appropriate size.
It will be in a third and final session when the veneers will be placed, applying a special cement so that they are securely fixed.
